As followers of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, we affirm that all people are created in the image of God, are beloved children of God, and are worthy of God's Grace. In accord with the ministry of John Wesley, we hold to a vision of an inclusive church that welcomes people of diverse faith journeys, beliefs, and opinions in a loving and caring community. We welcome ALL children to learn how the teachings of Jesus apply to their everyday lives.
Our Children's Sunday School program offers a fun and engaging program for children from pre-k through middle school. During the summer, all children are combined into one Sunday School class as a large group. During the school year, we provide a younger children's class (pre-k-2nd grade), an older children's class (3rd-5th grade) and a class for middle schoolers, grades 6 and up.

First United Methodist Church of Eugene is located on Kalapuya Ilihi, the traditional Indigenous homeland of the Kalapuya people. We honor their stewardship of this land with our efforts to continue that stewardship. And we recognize their continued presence and contributions to our community.
